On December 21, 2016 my oldest son was a victim of gun violence. My concern for justice is not inhibited because he was murdered by someone other than a police officer. For that to have crossed my mind sent chills through me. I know that if my black son was shot by a police officer nothing would happen other than, administrative leave with pay, investigation by his or her peers, then back to work. My heart immediately went out to those who don't have the comfort of knowing they would receive justice for their love one who lost their lives due to gun violence at the hands of those paid to protect and serve.
This will be an ongoing campaign for those who have lost their loved ones via blue conflict and a portion of the proceeds will go to helping the children of those victims.
