At 35 weeks we were diagnosed with moderate mitral stenosis, moderate aortic stenosis, moderate to severe coarctation of the aorta, and a mildly hypoplastic left ventricle. The left side of her heart is smaller and she will need open heart surgeries in her first five years of life. We will be in and out of Children's in the CVICU - her first open heart surgery will be at one week old. We are Rowan Strong.
