The city council has plans to sell public access desert lands to developers in order to raise tax revenues through the creation of high priced homes and retail spaces. They’ve already allowed the encroachment of new subdivisions close to the protected areas of Franklin Mountains State Park. We can not afford to lose this land, it is part of what makes El Paso, El Paso!
