Ama Chandra is a survivor of a home invasion and violent sexual assault. She survived after undergoing open heart surgery to repair her wounds and now stands as a vocal advocate for women to level the playing field and be able to protect themselves and their children from the violence of a broken society. She is also dedicated to creating healing spaces with her music that support healthy minds and spirits. She believes that love is the answer but it is important to protect our selves and learn practial safety skills.
