In 2017, the Women’s Marches took place all over the world. These marches ended up being the largest one day protests in our history, with more than 10,000 people marching in Portland and thousands more Maine people marching throughout the State and in D.C. From the marches grew a National organization and the articulation of unity principals and an intersectional feminist policy agenda to point us toward a future where everyone can thrive.
Learn more about this national work at womensmarch.org. Locally, we continue the tradition of bringing people together to demand social justice and the protection of human rights for all of us, all of the time.
Join us on January 18th to celebrate, learn together, and commit to making 2020 a time for change.
