Our mission is to provide law enforcement with the tools necessary to stabilize officers with life-threatening trauma before emergency medical arrives.

We discovered that most police agencies do not issue tourniquets to their officers, mostly because they lack the funding to issue tourniquets and train their officers on the proper application during a life-or-death incident. And during further research, we discovered that this was a nationwide problem. A standard tourniquet costs about $30 while certified agency training costs around $140 per officer, per hour. Thus, the Signal 99 Foundation was born.

Signal 99 is a code that means “officer in need of assistance” and that is what our organization is here to do; assist law enforcement. With our OFAKs (Officer First Aid Kits) and the proper training, we believe that we can cut the number of duty-related deaths down significantly.

This organization is dedicated in memoriam of Officer Justin Terney, Tecumseh #16 and every other police officer who has given the ultimate sacrifice. We are currently only operating in the state of Oklahoma but have future plans to expand nationwide very soon with the public’s help.
