Skylar was born with T-10 Spina Bifida. This not only left her paralyzed from the chest down but unable to breath on her own. She had an experimental surgery placing a pacer that helped her breathing without a respirator. She was truly a miracle baby! She was a shining light in so many people’s lives and created laughter wherever she went. Sadly , on March 19,2013 she was struck with a rare form of Strep A and tragically passed of sepsis. At Skylar’s Thumbprint we hope to keep her legacy of light and laughter alive by helping critically and chronically ill children. Help us keep that legacy alive
