Full story
The Lampkin Foundation was established to create positive opportunities and change for individuals, communities, and environments. Our goal is to sponsor and develop programs and initiatives that lead to the evolution of stronger communities and positively impact individuals wanting to lead happier and healthier lives. Here is just a sample of programs and initiatives we have developed to benefit your community:
Breath Giving Portraits Project
Since 2012, the Breath Giving Portraits Project, in cooperation with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, has brought awareness to the hardships of children restricted by symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis.
Developing Neighborhood Agriculture (DNA) Initiative
The mission is to support community-based health programs for the indigent and to share lessons and build solidarity through global partnerships. DNA provides support to community farms by providing support for local agriculture projects in communities identified as lacking fresh fruit, vegetables, and other healthful whole foods. We are transforming how families gain access to affordable nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables in urban communities.
We seek your support to continue programs and initiatives like these. Would you consider purchasing a t-shirt and/or making a monetary donation to help us achieve our mission?
The Lampkin Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization operating programs throughout California that have a significant impact in a wide range of issue areas, including education, economic development, climate change research, health and wellness, and providing healthy alternatives for underserved communities.
