God has been so sweetly showing and teaching me the importance of having the right roots and being rooted in Him and His love. When we are rooted in Him and know His love the enemy has no room or authority to root lies in our hearts and minds. The roots that God wants to put in us are strong, steadfast, run deeper than we will ever know, cannot be uprooted, will not break off, and last through the generations because He's just that awesome! I love that! When you are rooted in the love of God, the Holy Spirit begins to teach and show you how to love others the way that God created them to be loved. True love Himself gives you His heart and with that comes such a beautiful transformation. That transformation is happening in my own heart and all I want to do is share the love of Jesus with this world no matter the differences or the distance because Jesus is so worth knowing and loving deeply. I deserve nothing yet He has given me everything. I have been praying and asking Jesus what He desires my life to look like and Psalm 1:3 comes to mind. " She stands firm like a flourishing tree planted by God's design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. She is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous in all that she does." Being planted by God starts with His love and giving that love to others, and that is exactly what I desire to do. So I say, here I am Lord. Send me.
