On September 27th, Steve Stolte was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident, where the driver pulled out in front of him as he was going 50 MPH. He was thrown from his bike and sustained multiple injuries. Steve spent the next week in the hospital, which with COVID restrictions, made it very difficult for the family to be able to visit. Sadly, on October 6th, 2020, Steve's life ended tragically due to the severity of his injuries. He leave behind his incredible wife, Lisa Ledbetter-Stolte, sons Michael and Christopher, and daughter, Audrey, in addition to his grandchildren and many other family members.
Steve was, without a doubt, a fighter, battling and overcoming multiple myeloma TWICE. He had in recent months spent time receiving treatment overseas. He returned home to Tennessee with his family, and from there was working at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. He was such a family-oriented father and husband. Previously, Steve had worked not only as a paramedic, but he also served as a police officer.
We are starting this fundraiser to help offset the costs of his final expenses, and to help Lisa and the family with other bills during this time. All profits go to Lisa Stolte once this campaign is complete.
