Hurricane Maria occurred months ago, but its effects will be felt for years. The damage to the infrastructure has led many people to leave this island paradise to survive. It is in these times, with so much bad news happening on a weekly basis, that we must rise together.
Let's show our support by wearing the vejigante mask, a strong cultural symbol of Puerto Rico. The masks have been used for centuries during Carnival, held before Lent in Puerto Rico. Please show your support for our American neighbors by purchasing a shirt. Donations will benefit the World Central Kitchen, which is providing free meals.
