Founded by Creative Director, poet and author Dasha Kelly-Hamilton, Still Waters Collective is a non-profit, resource network for language artists and enthusiasts. More importantly, SWC has crafted a series of programs and community initiatives that use creative writing and spoken word as tools for building leadership and shaping self-esteem.
With the help of Still Waters Collective, Wisconsin students have raised their voices at the Brave New Voices International Poetry Slam & Festival since 2006. This year will be the first year for an ALL MILWAUKEE area team!
