K-9 Officer Lexer (Sexy Lexy to his

friends) is certified narcotic-detection

 and tracking K-9; "Lexer will also

be patrol certified soon. "This 

unusually social and phenomenal 

4-year-old K-9 officer has an

astounding amount of passion and

drive protecting and serving the

citizens of Ackley, Iowa, the

surrounding area and his handler

Officer Jones. 

Lexer a “Dutch” Shepherd, was

imported to the United States from

Mexico and went through the

Little Rock K-9 Academy in

Arkansas. The duo graduated

March 26,2015 forming Team Lexer. 

Lexer and Officer Jones spend

considerable time, both on duty

or off training or giving

demonstrations. With the

expressed goal of; bringing Police and Community Together.

Cassandra have successfully

completed a 240 hour K9 instructors

course. The end result from the

 eyes of many experienced instructors

is that Lexer is the best pure narcotics detection K9 they have seen. 

Lexer loves, belly rubs from his fans,

 playing fetch with Dad, and when

the time comes he loves doing his job!

If it's a good game of hide in seek he

is all in and ready to go! Lexer is a

true Ackley super pup and really needs

his own Hollywood star on walk 

of fame!

With Ackley being a small town and

purely funded by donations. 

Team Lexer always welcomes

assistance from the community, 

to continue funding things like food,

medical costs, training, and equipment.

Our goal is to not only maintain our

training, but to get better and better

in serving and protecting the

community as well as,bringing

Police and Community Together!
