Rosalee was born at 28 weeks gestation and weighing a mere 1lb 15oz. Due to prematurity she has been faced with many obstacles throughout her life.

Due to her prematurity she has been faced with many obstacles throughout her life including developmental challenges such as Cerebral Palsy. The past six years Rosalee has spent countless hours at doctor appointments, procedures, and most of all therapy which involves physical therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy and hippotherapy. Rosalee's family started looking into a surgery three years ago called Selective Doral Rhizotomy which would help eliminate the spasticity in Rosalee's legs and ultimately give her a life of less pain from muscle spasms, and a greater chance at walking. Rosalee went to meet with the nation’s top Neurosurgeon for this particular surgery, and she is officially a candidate for this life changing surgery. The money from this fundraiser will help Rosalee's family as they travel to St. Luis and stay a minimum of nine days.
