On March 24, 2020 my sister Brittany received devastating news from a biopsy result after seeking treatment for pain and discomfort in her chest. The biopsy results indicated Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Necrosis/Pseudoangiomatous Stromal Hyperplasia (PASH). Thats alot of jargain, let me boil it down. It's stage THREE breast cancer, with necrosis (irreversible death of tissue) of surrounding tissue of the tumor. Chemo treatments are currently in progress, followed by focused radiation and finally surgery.
