Lisa Connolly is an amazing, strong woman. She was a single mother for many years. She constantly sacrificed her own well-being and happiness for others. In September 2017, Lisa went to the doctor for one issue and left with the possibility of another issue. After further testing, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Several family members have had cancer, including her mother who had breast cancer and died around the same age. She’s having a double mastectomy in October.
Lisa will have to miss work for this surgery and she’s out of vacation time. Her work is covering her salary for the weeks she’ll miss, but her husband is also having surgery a week and a half before her. This will help offset the costs of living and medical costs as she doesn’t have insurance. Please help any way you can.
