"Our Scoutie girl got her angel wings on July 14th. She put up a brave BRAVE fight, but ultimately, the cancer was just too aggressive. Although she was only with us for four short years -- and really, when it comes to our furry loved ones, even 100 years isn't long enough -- she lived a very full life where she was loved fiercely not only by us, but by those who watched her grow up from afar. 

1) to raise funds to help us with vet bills that were not covered by our pet insurance, and 

2) to help us raise funds to donate to the National Canine Cancer Foundation and Animal Cancer Foundation -- both in her loving memory. Both are organizations dedicated to funding cancer research.
