The big house on fourth ave under the ginkgo tree that everyone loves and has such fond memories of has suffered significant damage in Hurricane Helene .

we are beyond grateful that Mom is ok and that she was not in her room when the tree hit it.

the several hundred  year old basswood in the side yard fell and crushed the house , it took out a chimney ,part of the roof , moms whole room, part of the dining room and moms car .

the house has cracks throughout and needs significant repair (it should take 2 years ) we have been working all hours to find people to do the work and haul the tree off .

Mom has lived in this house for 30 years , it has been where everything happened and this is very hard for us . We are so unbelievably grateful to everyone who has checked on us and asked what we need.

we are hoping that if you have a fond memory of the house and you loved your time around us all these years you will remember us even while we aren't there and while we try to build it back if we can .

We have made these shirts as a tribute to the house that built us all these years and if you want to send money straight to mom you can contact anyone of us anytime in the next two years . It's going to be a long road .
