Full story
In an era with social media connecting people across the world, fans have been able to contribute their talents in unique and creative ways to support their favorite artists, creatives, etc.
When it comes to the Zack Snyder fandom, this had especially been the case, with numerous art festivals, fan-run conventions that outperform San Diego Comic Con, and unrivaled online trending events. I have always wanted to lend my hand in honoring and supporting a filmmaker that has positively influenced my life.
For a while, though, I didn't really know how to do that (especially since I'm an introvert). I had to ponder and reflect on my creative strengths. I always knew writing was one of them since I was a contributing writer for two entertainment websites.
So I began the quest of a dream and roughly outlined what a book might look like and just dove in head-first writing something I thought would take years and years to finish - let alone publish. After Sean O'Connell announced his book Release the Snyder Cut (and our initial conversation afterwards), I knew I was on the right track.
Fast forward to the present day and here we are! My book will be available all over the globe and now I have apparel here to support a cause that has been near-and-dear to many in the fandom: the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
Thank you to everyone that has bought an item or spread the word about this fundraiser. Your support means the world to me!
