With the changing world, and diminishing wild spaces, MCDI has a two-pronged mission; Youth Education and Scent Detection.
Educating Youth - If they never walk in the woods, hear a bird sing, or dig in the soil, they will have difficulty understanding what will be lost without conservation efforts. We make those efforts tangible to them by providing on-site scent detection demos and customized, science-based learning opportunities to youth of all ages.
Providing Scent Detection - We want to heal and help the natural world. We do that by providing an environmentally friendly, efficient and innovative approach to advance conservation efforts; canine scent detection! We aid researchers, scientists, public/private corporations and public health agencies who are protecting our planet.
This Earth Day fundraiser will make a difference for our organization by supporting education event costs and gear purchases for a safe & successful field season so that we can positively impact the earth and its future EVERY. DAY. this year. Thank you!
