Northwest Magic was founded in 2009 by Coach Vanessa Selden- Mcclendon, a former University of Oregon standout. With the support and backing of her husband (Gerald McClendon), a great friend with great business savy and a passion for basketball (Edwina Martin-Arnold), and a great Coach mentor (Kevin Strozier) , Northwest Magic has developed into one of the most recognizable organizations in the Northwest. NW Magic is a premier youth basketball program focused on developing college ready players. This involves skills development, fostering sportsmanship, and encouraging academic success.
