Village People Tri for a Cure

The Village People are back!  For the 4th year in a row, the Village People will be rocking the Tri for a Cure to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation.  Since 1976, the Maine Cancer Foundation has worked to improve cancer prevention, screening and patient outcomes statewide.   As we swim, bike, and run we will be thinking of those who have been afflicted with cancer while raising money to help the cause.

  All funds raised will go towards Fundraising for the Tri for a Cure event.

Everyone we know has been somehow impacted by cancer.  We all know how hard it is.  That is why we TRI harder.  For the 4th year in a row, staff from Village School are competing in the Tri for a Cure.  We swim, bike, and run to raise funds for the Maine Cancer Foundation.  This year, we have 27 staff members participating.  Each of us joint the Tri for a Cure for a different reason, but we all share the common goal of helping those afflicted with cancer by supporting the Maine Cancer Foundation.  Today, thanks to those who support our fundraising efforts, there are effective treatments for many forms of cancer and the promise of more to come.  We will not wait!  We will not quit!  We will TRI for a Cure!
