My husband and I have always wanted to be parents. After years of trying to conceive, more years of fertility treatments, and failed attempt after failed attempt, it was hard to hold on to the hope that this dream would happen for us. I dont think anyone can really understand the struggle of infertility when the option to have a child of your own is taken from you.4 years later we find ourselves burnt out from the process physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Through many conversations and the support from our "village" we have made the decision to adopt. To give up fertility treatments at this time and step away from trying was not an easy decision and will be just as hard on the two of us emotionally and financially but we are determined to become parents and experience what so many of our loved ones have already. I have started this fundraiser to help raise money for what will be an expensive journey to make our dreams of being prents come true. I have contacted several agencies, been approved, and will be starting our home study soon before being placed on a wait list to find a baby. Adoption has already cost us a few thousand dollars and has the potential to reach $30,000 or more with fees and services. Help support us and our next exciting chapter in life. Buy a T shirt and represent our circle of support “our village” as our journey continues. Help us raise the money we need by sharing our link and telling your friends!
