The Living Room is the only day center in Sonoma County that specifically serves homeless and at-risk women and their children. We fill a special need, in conjunction with other community agencies, by providing participants with a place to be during the day when overnight shelters are closed. The Living Room provides a supportive place to heal while in transition. A majority of the women we see have suffered from exposure to domestic violence and have experienced either physical or sexual assault.
