Wish For Our Heroes is a national charity (501c3) established for the purpose of granting wishes to deserving active duty men and women of the United States Military, who are struggling with various hardships ranging from food or diapers, to transportation or medical costs not covered by TriCare (just to name a few). Wish For Our Heroes is run entirely by volunteers, with only one paid employee to properly manage the bookkeeping. In 2014, Wish For Our Heroes raised $3.6 million dollars and granted $3.4 million in military wishes – not bad for a team of only volunteers! To top it off, in 2014, Wish For Our Heroes had an admin ratio of only 4.4% - that means 95.6% of all donations went right back to helping our troops!
