To support City of Kenedy Animal Control and other local animal welfare organizations, we are starting a new club of concerned citizens and dog lovers called Animal Advocates of Karnes County (AAKC). AAKC will be a voice for the dogs.Karnes County has seen so many positive changes in the past year since volunteers started helping the local animal control officers in May 2014, and we want to keep that positive momentum going! There is still much work to be done and many other nearby places in desperate need of help. AAKC members hope to meet some of those needs through teamwork and collaboration. AAKC group will be a team that values everyone's opinion, open communication, respect, honesty and above all the welfare of the dogs. AAKC will start off as a networking group and grow from there, hopefully to non-profit status!
