The ADHS EMT I & II students will complete at lest 24 hours of pre-hospital field internship. This is an opportunity for the student to work in a clinical or pre-hospital setting as an EMT working under the supervision of a clinical/field preceptor. Emphasis is placed on building basic assessment skills, patient contact hours, and knowledge that will be necessary to gain successful employment in the student's chosen area.
