My story.... I started this journey technically six years ago but in reality this will be my seventh event I am fund raising for. I started for my two Aunts who died of this horrible disease. I kept going because I am diagnosed stage zero, so my risk is moderate and I need to be hyper vigilant. Then I met her. She changed my world. She is loved by my man who sees the love she has for me. Her name is Sharon Slosarik. She is a stage four breast cancer survivor who is BRCA positive. So I kept walking because there was a chance her daughter would also be BRCA positive as well. Today 02/04/2017, we found out that what we feared most is truth. Talk about hyper vigalence. But she is only 18. So last year I thought it was my last year walking, my last go around, my last chance to raise $2300.00! But tonight as I think about who this young woman is, I decided her soul and her heart is so worth throwing aside any skeptism. Her heart is worth every ounce of my fight. So please join me in beating this disease! Because with out this cause early detection would not be possible, and the test for this gene would not be possible. Please help me by donating today!
