     Paws & Claws Fur Ever raises money to assist dog and cat rescues when they encounter unexpected and unbudgeted financial obligations. All rescues budget their funds and hold fundraisers. But no rescue ever wants to say no to an animal or group of animals because of money. A puppy mill raid, a cat hording situation, a dog fighting ring break..these all entail long-term commitments that include medical, boarding, food, and human interaction. This all takes a great deal of time, because animals in legal cases are held as evidence, often for more than a year and during that time, none of the animals can be placed in fur ever homes. Rescues will call for donations, but that, too, takes time. 

     Paws & Claws is an all volunteer organization, no salaries are paid. All money beyond basic functional needs go to rescues.

     Paws & Claws works to fill the gap financially and help with the costs, so rescues can focus on the indvidual needs of the dogs, puppies, cats and kittens involved.
