Thirty miles. San Antonio missed the full force of Hurricane Harvey by 30 miles. If Harvey had gone 30 miles west instead of where it came ashore, San Antonio would be flooding right now. It didn't and we're lucky. We prepped for no reason, thank goodness. We had a weekend tucked safely at home with our families.
But our fellow Texans are hurting. The coast, where Harvey hit full force, is struggling and people have no idea when they can go home--or even if they have a home to even go back to. Houston and East Texas are getting slammed with buckets of rain and before it's over, may get more rain in a few days than they usually do for a full year. The storm pictures are heartbreaking and are only going to get worse.
Please help the helpers: funds from this campaign will go to the Texas Diaper Bank for diapers, formula and other life-giving supplies for our littlest Texans. No one has a bigger heart than Texas--let's show everyone how much we care.
