This month's cause: Patriot PAWS
Patriot PAWS trains and provides service dogs of the highest quality, at no cost, to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence.
Patriot PAWS trains service dogs to perform various behaviors including help for patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They set out to increase a person's self-sufficiency. Services performed by each dog depend on the needs of the owner. Some of the services provided to assist disabled veterans in accomplishing daily tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible, include:
- Getting help in emergencies
- Recognizing and averting PTSD episodes
- Picking up and retrieving items
- Opening and closing doors
- Pulling wheelchairs
- Providing bracing to stand, walk and sit down
- Helping with chores, such as laundry
- Taking off shoes and socks
Once matched, Patriot PAWS continues its work with matched veterans and dogs as they learn to work together as a team. Learn more about this great organization.
We're honored to be supporting this organization as they help provide much needed services for U.S. veterans.

How our Giving Back Program works: Each month, INK donates 10¢ of every single shirt that is sold through the site toward a monthly featured cause. Since October 2013, we have donated over $7,000.00 to various causes through our Giving Back Program.
